Sarah & Evan were so fun & easy to work with. And… the location (the farm Sarah grew up on) was just perfect. Sarah’s father drove us to each spot where we had a blast working with all the creative elements available to us. This session will definitely go down as one of my favorites. Oh, where do I begin with the Ahuero Family? What started as me bugging Pennie, the owner of Viva la Cupcake to take photos of her cupcakes blossomed into a close friendship. The Ahuero’s are one of Roanoke’s finest gems. Pennie, Michael, Austin, Clay & Ethan, thank you for your friendship. I am not looking forward to saying good-bye.

WOW, I can’t believe this is our 11th session together! Thank you for your support over the last three years. The Rouse Family is very comedic & joyous so, we tried to capture their spirit while thinking outside the box. I think we were successful. Saying good-bye to this family will not be easy. They will be missed greatly.

Chloe’s mother had the tub idea and once I heard her idea, I knew she had to find a flower covered swim cap. And… she found the perfect one. It fit our industrial backdrop to a tee. I am in love with these photos, Chloe is so perfect & beautiful. Another big thank you to the Cardillo Family for making the trek from DC.

The Cardillo Family came down for the 2nd time from the DC area for family portraits. They are such a beautiful family and it is always a pleasure.
